During the week of VBS (Vacation Bible School) I was out checking on our garden quite often.
The zucchini plants have really taken off. We didn't plant many of them this year. Nor did we need to. They've gone crazy.
Green beans have also been plentiful recently.
I believe this is some sort of winter squash, however, I'm not sure what kind.
Here's another vegetable with which I am unfamiliar.
Our tomatoes plants are bushy and beautiful. They are beginning to produce a lot of fruit and seem to be loving this heat wave.
This is the first year that we've tried to grow cabbage. I'm not familiar with it, so I'm not sure if they look good or not. At any rate, they do seem to be growing.
Our carrots have not done as well as they have in the past, but they are coming.
I found this little bee helping out some of our pole beans. I love watching these little guys at work.
I've also noticed tiny little cucumbers growing. If all goes well it looks like we'll have a lovely crop soon.
Zucchini was the first produce we picked this year, along with a handful of beans. The bean didn't last long. Our children chowed them down in no time. We've had a crazy amount of zucchini, daily, since this photo was taken. Now if it would just cool down a little.

Your garden is beautiful. And I'm impressed that your kids love beans! Mine like them cooked only.
Your garden is beautiful. We have gotten a few cucumbers but not any zucchini yet. We have onions and potatoes. The tomatoes are slow in coming, I am guessing because of the heat and no rain. We have been watering. We did get the first rain in 2 months on Tuesday this week. The plants loved the water.
