Trick or Treat

It just so happens that Reformation and Halloween fall on the exact same day. So after a fabulous (so I hear)  joint Reformation service with Mt. Zion, Mt. Calvary, Hope, and Emmaus Lutheran Churches all the pastors and their lovely families headed to our house to party!Here we go. Getting 14 13 children in costumes was quite chaotic. No. It was nuts. It was crazy, wild, and out of control.Then someone had the bright idea of taking pictures. How crazy is that?Yes. It’s me. The crazy person is me! These kids are so cute that one must take pictures. Do you agree?  Off they all went for an evening of candy collecting.Here’s the loot when they returned. Let the trading and eating begin.

Here are the two tops that I entered in a sewing contest. Could you all be so kind and vote for them? The tops are grouped in ten groups of ten. My tops are 2J AND 6J. I would really appreciate. Purses

Here are a couple of purses that I finished recently. I got the pattern from Ottobre Design. I just love that web site and their sewing magazines. They are the best. This purse was so easy to make. It only took about an hour to get the whole thing done. I may change it up a bit for the next time and add some pockets on the inside. The girls love these purses. They are a great size.
