See that adorable little face? How can you resist it? It makes you want to give in and give her everything that she wants doesn’t it?
Planning a cake and figuring out all the presents can get kind of stressful. Then add 2 more birthdays in the coming weeks and well…Yay! I can’t wait. :)
I just have to thank all of our friends and family for all your help in making these birthdays possible. We couldn’t do it without you. Your ideas, gifts, and cards you have sent out have been great! Thank you!
Cookie Monster and Elmo never go out of style, even when your kids don’t even watch Sesame Street. I got two emails about making these cupcakes. Funny, huh? They were pretty fun to make, right Carissa? They turned out pretty cute too!
Of course the birthday girl got her own separate little cake.
After dinner we were just hanging out. Elizabeth and Elmo became quick friends or Elmo became a teething toy. Either way.
This was such a cute little picture that I had to stick it in there.
Cake time! See video below. It’s pretty cute!
Chow down baby!
Birthdays are a huge deal to me. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because we have a son that never it made it to his first birthday. Maybe it’s the look on the kids’ faces-all of the excitement, not just in their faces, but in all the faces that are watching too. It’s so fun! Maybe it’s the fact that it only happens once a year. Whatever the reason, all the work and stress that goes into all these birthdays is so completely worth it. I just love celebrating our kids’ birthdays and hope to celebrate many more! And thank you to all of you who remember to celebrate with us even if you aren’t physically here. We’re already preparing for another birthday in six days!!
