I Heart Faces

I have never had any children just fall asleep anywhere at anytime until Thomas. He just falls asleep whenever he is tired where ever he is at that moment. It's kind of hilarious. That's why he fits perfectly into the theme at I Heart Faces this week. In this photo he and the other kids were playing restaurant in the backyard. I guess his "food" didn't make it to him in time. Where's Thomas?

Ready to play this game again? I was just talking to Thomas while he and David were playing with Legos and entertaining Elizabeth. Suddenly he was really quiet. Where did he go? Can you find him amidst all the chaos?

This is our garage. Yes, that's right Thomas fell asleep on the floor in the garage. He went out there to get his shoes so he could go outside. He got one shoe on, but couldn't find the other. He got really upset and started crying then he just gave up and fell asleep. All the crying must have worn him out.

Sleeping Thomas

Do you remember when I said Thomas likes to sleep in strange places and sometimes he just falls asleep wherever? Here are some more random places that Thomas likes to sleep.

I don't know what he was doing here. Coloring at the table? Then he decided he was too tired to sit up any longer.

In this photo he begged me to let him get the laundry out of the dryer so he could fold his underwear. He didn't get to far in his folding.

Where's Thomas?

Every night before I go to bed I make the rounds. I check on all the kids. Thomas and David have a habit of playing around if they are not tired. I think Thomas gets so into what he is doing that he doesn't realize that he is tired. When he does realize that he's tired he just falls asleep where he is. His energy is far too gone to climb back into bed.

This one evening in particular Thomas was not in his bed. I checked under David's bed, the girls room, Elizabeth's room, and the bathroom. No Thomas. Then I opened the closet door and there is Thomas. He is asleep on the closet floor next to the nasty smelling diaper champ. He had gone in there and even shut the door. Sweet dreams!

Little Cat Nap

This is Thomas. He has given up his naps...so he says. We gave up laying him down for naps because he would finally fall asleep in his bed after an hour of messing around. Then once he woke up he was refreshed and ready to go, and go, and go. He would be up all night long. So now we let him stay up and this is what happens frequently. He just falls asleep anytime, anywhere. He can be in the middle of playing with something and just doze off. It's pretty funny!
