We spent a few days playing around Breckenridge while my Lutheran Stud attended a church worker's conference. On our last day in town we woke up to a little snow, but things warmed up quickly and it was a beautiful day. Strangely enough, as we drove home the temperatures continued to drop. For once it was warmer in the mountains.
We returned home pretty much to attend church on Sunday, do laundry, and pack up again. Only this time we hit the road for 20 hours. We spent the night in Montana where there just happened to be a water slide at our hotel. When we arrived we were told that the pool didn't open until 9am. My Lutheran Stud winked at the front desk staff and they agreed to open the pool early just so our children could go down the water slide. We had the entire pool to ourselves.

After a morning swim we hit the road and stopped for lunch at The Staggering Ox. They make their own bread in the shape of can. In the middle is where all of the goods are stored. It's quite the sandwich and has become a favorite place of mine now.

Have a good time! I'm jealous that you get to go to Washington--it's been way too long since we've been there.
Looking forward to when you get back though :)
I get heart flutters every time you post your beautiful mountain pictures. Safe travels.
