Hello internet friends! I think I've neglected you for the past few days. It's been quite a whirlwind of a weekend filled with a lot of spontaneity. It was all fun and good stuff. It began with this adorable little girl. She just made my day with her huge, adorable dimples. I missed the photo of that, so you can just imagine it. This my friend, Nikol's first baby. Nikol came to town for a Pampered Chef conference and I, last minute, decided to host a party for her.
It was a crazy, last minute party. Did I mention that? I really wasn't expecting many people to come, so thank you to all of you who did come. You kept me busy and on my toes. It was so crazy, that I really don't remember much of the presentation at all. We had an outstanding Baked Potato Chowder, which will be the next soup I make for dinner. I love potoatoes! Have I said that before? I think I have. I wish I had gotten some more photos, but I didn't. :)
Have I ever told you that we have the best church in the city of Denver? It's true our ladies are the best. I should have invited more of them to my party because they are such a hoot and so much fun to hang out with. My boys have discovered games on peoples' phones. It's pretty funny watching them play these games.
Jenn and Keri drove all the way from Kansas, just kidding. It was Aurora, but that's almost Kansas, to me.
The girls were more interested in crafting than the party itself. They made some pretty cool things.
See? When you come to my house it's relaxing. I've got a comfy floor, so just pull out your catalog and sprawl out, however you want.
This little girl made it through the entire party without a nap. Look at those little tired eyes. She did so well and I am sure she was ready to hit the road and take a long nap on the way home!
If you'd like to order something online there is still time. HERE is the link, so go ahead, make my day and yours with a little present for yourself. It's been so long since I've been to a Pampered Chef party. My have things changed. There are some really cool things in the catalog. Most of the things that I have are 10 years old or so. I just love their products.
Here are a few of my favorites:
We make homemade pizza often and love this pizza stone. Although, mine is older and now they've made it even better by adding handles to the side.
I have three cutting boards and use them on a daily basis. Again, these have changed and are even better. They now have a non-slip edge to them. I might have to order a few more of these.
One of the things I can't live without are these bamboo spoons. I use these them almost everyday. They are really sturdy. They've even touched and open flame and survived!
More recently, I received this large scoop and medium scoop. They are perfect for cupcakes and cookies! I don't know how I got along without them.
I think I will soon add the mix n' chop my utensil drawer, some more bamboo spoons, and maybe a silicone basting brush. We'll see. It seems I keep changing my mind.
Those are just a few of my favorites, that I use most often, but my list could go on and on. Do you have any favorite Pampered Chef items? What are they? I'd love to hear about them. I may have to add them to my list. :)

Oh, my, where to start? I love Pampered Chef products...so much that I was thrilled by a PC wedding shower! I would agree that the cookie scoops are some of my favorite products. Their spatulas are great, too!
I recently discovered your website and am so excited! It's great to discover another site by a Lutheran lady!
Jan- I love the pic of Elliana cuddled up with her daddy. You take awesome photos. I had fallen behind on reading your posts the last few weeks. You have been posting a lot. How do you find the time? I'm always so impressed by all that you do. You are a blessing and inspiration to so many including me. Thank you.
Niki, I love that pic of Elliana too! She is such a little cutie. I just wished I could have gotten a pic of her huge dimples. Next time. :)
