Gasworks

Are you tired of our never ending vacation yet?  Well, here’s another place you must visit if you are in Seattle.  Some of Seattle’s best views can be seen from Gasworks Park.It was a beautiful day for boating. The Space Needle is one of Seattle’s most well known landmarks. St. Mark’s Cathedral is well known for their Compline service every Sunday evening.There’s a big, steep hill at the park.  This photo doesn’t show how steep it really is here. At the very top is a compass carved into the ground.  The top of the hill is perfect for kite flying.  Have you ever tried paddle surfing? It’s a great park to come and just hang out. People come and walk around.  Some stay awhile to sun bathe or read books.  It’s really quite nice.

Did I mention that it’s free?  Yep.  Just go there. If it’s a nice day you won’t want to leave.
