The Actual Birthday

My actual birthday, almost two weeks ago, was pretty fun.  A friend of mine came over and took me out for a pedicure.  Meanwhile, the kids were home decorating not one, but two cakes.   We had a few friends over for dinner and played games.  It was fun and low key.I received a bunch of cool gifts too!  That’s always a plus since I love presents.  I’m not gonna lie I love getting presents!  I love getting cards and little packages in the mail.  Who doesn’t right?

One of my gifts was a tripod.  I can’t believe I went so long without one.  I guess I never thought  I needed it.  However after photographing a few large families I wished I had one.  Now I do.  I was like a little kid on Christmas morning; I couldn’t wait to get it all set up.  Then we played.  I let the kids take a few photos too.  They thought it was great!

   

Well that concludes all of the birthday fun!  Thanks for all the cards and awesome gifts.  I loved them all.
