Pirates Anyone?

Pirates2  We have a friend that has a mind that never stops.Pirates1Bryan created this pirate game out of the blue.  I think it turned into a major project because he made a bunch of tiny little pieces to go with it. Pirates3He was finally able to find some friends to play with him.  And that made him pretty happy.Pirates4I know nothing about this pirate game and neither does his wife Keri. Pirates5 I do know that it involves some strategizing.Pirates7These guys are good at that kind of stuff or maybe not.  It did take them 3 or maybe even 4 hours to play the entire game.Pirates8In the end Quinton won and they were able to figure out some loop holes to the game.  Now Bryan wants to play again.  Pirates anyone?

Did you make them play at the kids school table in the front room? I hope you at least raised it up for them :) It looks like they were having a great time.

I love boardgames too! We have one by Days of Wonder called Pirate's Cove that looks similar to what your friend has there, that we haven't played in forever since the older kids are elsewhere now. It's been so long, I think I'd have to relearn the rules. Playing with just two just isn't as fun, though.
Here's the one we have:

Their Colosseum and Mystery of the Abbey are also fun.
