This is David. He is now three years old. He is the charmer of the family. He knows how to get what he wants pretty much anytime he wants. He’s polite and he uses good manners to get what he wants. He’ll say something like, “Please, please, pretty please can I…” And then it’s so darn cute you can’t say, “No.” If I had a better video camera I would try and get video of this for you. If you know David, though, then you know this about him.
So anyways, we basically celebrated his birthday twice. Once with cupcakes on his real birthday. And then because Holy Week is so chaotic around here, we had him open presents on the Monday after Easter.
It all worked out okay. He completely forgot that he didn’t have any presents for his birthday. Then when he did get his presents it was like his birthday all over again.
He was pretty happy and excited. Not only that, but he is at the age where it’s fun to watch him open his presents. He gets excited over everything he opens, even if he doesn’t know what it is or doesn’t really care for it.
Elizabeth is starting to pick up on this present opening thing and ripping paper. She wanted in on the action.
See that tongue action he has going on? He gets that from his dad. :)
One of the gifts that David received was a remote control car. All of the kids just love it…well almost all. Elizabeth thought the car was out to get her and freaked out. She has come around though and loves the car now. I think we need a few more so we can all race each other around the house.
So if you’ve made it all the way through this post, thanks! Let me just say that I was going to post this earlier, but ran into some problems with Windows. Can I just say I hate Windows. Hate it! Why does it just freeze up for no reason and then lose the things you saved? I use one, just one, program on Windows, so I don’t even use Windows heavily. It’s slow and it sucks! Sorry. I had to get that off my chest. Thanks for letting me vent. You might not hear from me for awhile. I have to reload and find my stuff now. (sigh) Until next time…
