to David! Today we began celebrating David’s birthday. He’s “free” now and pretty excited about it. Along with David’s birthday it is also Maundy Thursday and April Fool’s day. That’s a lot to take in for one day. When I say began, it’s because Holy week in our household is a little nuts, so we decided to continue celebrating David’s birthday next week. So feel free to send him presents. He can’t wait to open them next week. Poor guy.
When I asked if he wanted cake or cupcakes for his birthday he said, “I want pupcakes!” Alrighty then. He also chose orange frosting and while we were at the store he chose the decorations he wanted on top along with Winnie the Pooh cupcake liners.
I tried to get him to pose for a few shots. I don’t get many posed shots from any kids at this age. He’s showing off his “mean” face.
King for the day.
Time to blow out the candles. Careful.
Way to go! What a champ, huh?

Wollie says happy birthday to you, David. Wish we could be there to celebrate and help you eat those yummy looking cupcakes.
Happy Birthday David!!! Those look like delicious pupcakes!
I was induced on April 1, 2 years ago and I was so nervous that he was going to be born on April Fool's Day, thankfully mine waited a few hours until April 2. I was disappointed that his birthday was on Good Friday this year. We also are going to finish celebrating after Holy Week because it is too crazy for a pastor's family right now! Happy Birthday, David!
My youngest, now 7, still says "pupcakes." Although now he can correct himself, it still slips out. I love it!
Happy Bday to David!
My word verification was: chaers! hee hee hee!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!!
Awww... that is the most precious mean face ever! I love the joy and sparkle in his eyes.
