I should know better. I was upstairs working on school with the older girls. Anna was taking a nap. The other kids were playing downstairs. All was quiet in the basement. We keep most of the toys in the basement, in case you couldn’t already tell from the previous photos. We have a closet where we keep all of the board games up high on some shelves. The boys had to find a way to climb up the shelves to reach the games. They decided that since they were able to reach the games they should just take them all down and empty them all. Then they decided to stir the pot a bit and they mixed all the games together. Monopoly and Checkers with a little Blockus and Candyland on the side. Oh, and if you decide to play Uno Attack with Phase Ten cards it works just swell, so go ahead and give it a go. Good times! AHHH!!!
Oh.
ReplyDeleteOh my.
Oh my goodness.
What do you do next? Seriously. What do you do? (Read: Reason why Adriane would make a crappy mom number 283)
OH MY!!!!! Yikes!!! Curious, did you sort it out? I love games, but for the above reasons, hate them too!

ReplyDeleteThe degree of utter messiness makes me smile. If it were less so, it wouldn't be so amusing.
Right?......
I got REALLY mad. So mad, I couldn't even get words out of my mouth, so I went and got my camera instead. Then I told the boys they had to clean everything up. They were down there all day, except for lunch and dinner, and got no where. I really just wanted to get a garbage bag and throw it all away, but I knew Jared would be mad at me for that. When he got home he and the boys spent about an hour and a half cleaning everything up. Ugh!
