New Year's Day!

The evening of New Year's Day you probably could have found us at the airport excited to head somewhere a little warmer than Denver.While I thought I had the weather in Denver figured out it came as a surprise when the snow was falling on our way to the airport. Our flight was ended up getting delayed and we didn't find out until we had already arrived at the airport. No worries though, we hung out at Rock Bottom and watched the ground crew throw luggage around and saw a few planes land and board more passengers.

Our plane finally arrived and they were so excited to get us on the plane that they forgot to unload the previous flight's luggage first. You know what that means; it meant that our luggage hadn't been loaded either. Yikes!

Then it was a quick 5 minutes to get our plane de-iced, or so the pilot told us. FYI, never believe the pilot when he says it's only going to take 5 minutes. It was more like 15 or 20 minutes. We finally made it to our destination and hit our pillows around 2am. Stay tuned to find out where we went. ;)
