Denver Fun

_MG_6174.jpgLast week I met up with my friend Colleen for lunch. I told her to choose a fun place because, well, I don't get out much. I wanted to go somewhere in which I had never eaten. She brought me to a quaint little place called the Irish Snug, where I'm sure you can guess what they serve: Irish food.
_MG_6176.jpgThe Irish Snub is a charming little pub in Denver. Look! They even have bottomeless Mimosas for brunch on the weekend. I think we went on the wrong day. While I ordered a Chicken Ranch sandwich, Colleen had French Dip. I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a few pics of our meal before we ate. By the time I remembered, I don't think you would have enjoyed seeing what was left. The meal was fantastic though, so if you're in Denver try out this Irish pub for a meal or drinks. Colleen ordered this fantastic beer too, and if I could remember the name of it I would recommend it to you. It even had a really cool name, though it wasn't Irish-it was a Scottish beer that had an apple cider taste to it.
_MG_6191.jpgThen we headed down the street a bit and ended up at The Shoppe. It's a bit of an eclectic place, but fits in so well where it is located.
_MG_6183.jpgThey don't have just cupcakes. You also have your choice of drinks, cookies, pie, and/or different cereals with a choice of flavored milk.
_MG_6179.jpgWe decided to try a variety of different cupcakes. We ordered the minis, so we could taste more cupcakes. Aren't they pretty?
_MG_6182.jpgThey were quite tasty as well. If you're looking for something to do at midnight, because they are open until 2am on the weekend, or any other time of day you can just come and hang out at The Shoppe. There are a variety of board games to enjoy or you can just visit with your friends. We sure had a wonderful time visiting and hopefully we'll be able to get together again soon and visit some more hidden treasures around Denver.

It was SO fun! I am so glad that we had a chance to hang out and really get to know each other, although I hope that you aren't scared off by my crazy stories!! It really was so wonderful. Next up, I think we should try the Fuel Cafe!

Those cupcakes look amazing. I've never been to the Irish Snug. . . or is it Snub? If an Irish snubbed you, would they still call you 'deary'? What a fun time.
