He is Risen!

_MG_5298.jpgHappy Easter to you all! I think I'm still recovering from this Easter weekend and thus I haven't posted much lately. I thought I'd just pop in and post a few photos of the children in their Easter attire. While I don't reccommend trying to get a group photo just after the babies have been woken up, I really had no choice. I knew that once we arrived at church things would be crazy. While the older children were quite excited to get to church, my little girls were wanting to go back to sleep. I think you would be grumpy too if someone woke you up at 6:30am, right?

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magadelene, Mary mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Jesus. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?" But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away-for it was very large. And entering the tomb, they sawa a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.
But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazereth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples-and Peter-that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you."
So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they werer afraid.

I love that Anna still has her blankie. I remember that from last year's picture. And I love the blues. Such a great color on all of them.

1. Did you make those dresses? They're adorable!

2. My kids ALWAYS get up at 6:30 a.m., no matter how late they go to bed. I'm waiting for them to become teenagers.

Love the outfits. When my kids were young and I only had 5 kids I made Easter outfits for them all. Even the boys.
