Forever Broadway

_MG_4923.jpgFriday night my Lutheran Stud and I attended a choral concert at a local church. The view of the mountains as the sun was going down was just beautiful. I couldn't resist a photo. Just pretend the vehicles aren't there.
Went to a fun concert filled with broadway music tonight. @sarawittner you should be on The Voice! We had a great time listening to music from a variety of broadway shows. It makes me want to see more shows. Wicked is high on my list. We also talked about watching Little Shop of Horrors. It's been years since I've seen it.
_MG_4926.jpgThe adorable, young brown-haired gal is Sara. She attends our church and invited us to listen to her perform.
_MG_4928.jpgShe also sang a solo for Little Shop of Horrors
_MG_4931.jpgYou wouldn't think such a tiny little thing could sing the way that she does. She was fabulous. I can't wait to hear her sing again.
_MG_4937.jpgIt was a great evening filled with such fun music. The choir did a wonderful job.

How fun! I love Broadway, being the daughter of two theatre majors I grew up listening to all that on vinyl. :)

Oh my stars, WICKED! I think it's coming back to Denver this fall, right? That musical, to me, is the perfect musical. It gets everything right and is written to perfection.

Have you seen Wicked? It's here in April. We were thinking of going. Do you want to go with?

Don't just think about going to see Wicked, Jan. Do it! You'll love it. My kids even love the soundtrack.

Why isn't Sarah teaching music for VBS?

Oh, go see Wicked, Jan! It will forever change the way you think of the Wizard of Oz. It's incredible!

Wicked is the best! I saw it on Broadway in NYC 3 years ago and loved every minute of it. My advice for seeing any new musical, grab the soundtrack, listen to it and get really familar with the songs. It makes the whole night of the performance so much more enjoyable in my opinion.
I'm with Heather. I love Broadway too. I can't get enough of it.
