It took a year to plan; a year of lying to their mother.
They pulled it off flawlessly. Last week we attended a surprise party for one of my favorite ladies.
Betty had a pretty big birthday last week. She's been through a lot in her lifetime and still has a smile on her face.
Did I mention that she turned 90? Yep, 90. She still walking, talking, and laughing with the rest of us.
Her family planned this big shin dig right under her nose. She didn't have any idea what was going on.
Her three children along with friends, granchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great grandchildren were in attendance to celebrate with this beautiful lady. We love you Betty!

I thought so too!! (what Lauren said) And then I thought, "If that stinkpot didn't tell us first, I'm going to be miffed! Or the godmother. Those are their options." It's true. Those were my thoughts. Verbatim. Namely because I'm having them right now.
