Oops

_MG_9403.jpgYesterday, after dinner, the children and I set out for the church garden. I had a feeling there were beans that needed to be picked. While there were some beans there was also this big loot. It looks like our squash and zucchini are starting to get away from us.
IMG_0621.jpgI aslo found some eggplant. I was beginning to wonder if they were ever going to grow.
IMG_0620.jpgThese cute little peppers are also growing out of control.
IMG_0619.jpgDo you remember the tiny little watermelon from my last garden post? It's not so tiny anymore.
IMG_0618.jpgMy Lutheran Stud also picked up a seed packet of winter squash. It's supposed to be a mixed variety. I have no idea what kind of squash this is, but it is the size of a large pumpkin and my children want to pick it.
_MG_9406.jpgIn case you were wondering how big that zucchini really is David can hardly carry it.
_MG_9410.jpgI think we'll be growing tired of all of this squash pretty soon, but it definitely helsp that we've made variety of different dishes with them.
_MG_9412.jpgThese girls are partners in crime on the playground. I can only imagine what will happen when they are older.
