9/11

Where were you on 9/11/01? I was really pregnant and working. Rebecca was born just 4 days later. I still remember that day. Do you? Last night our country received some pretty incredible news: Osama Bin Laden was dead. Can you believe it? Check out some of these photos from yesterday's news.P050111PS-0210

Great pictures. Although whenever the President opens his mouth all I hear is "blah, blah, blah."

I was beginning my day at Cresbard High School. I was teaching all day and the internet was down, so I didn't know the full extent until I left school that day. Today is a great day indeed.

Cari and I were on a plane to Chicago...on our way to NM. That is a day I will never forget.

Chris was on vicarge in Connecticut in 2001. Our congregation was located an hour outside NYC. We could see smoke rising from the towers in the distance because it was such a clear, beautiful day. No one in our congregation was killed, but many personally knew someone who had been. It was a very difficult time. We will always remember it too.

Claire was conceived during the mini baby boom after 9/11. I struggled with the receptionist at the OB to schedule my appointments.
