Rainbow!

The official starting day of the conference was Wednesday afternoon. It began with a divine service with holy communion. After that it's full speed ahead. Jared disappears into sessions and we head back to our room for naps.  While the little kids were napping it started raining. Then it stopped. That's the way things work around here. If you don't like the weather just wait 10 minutes and it will change.
From outside our window we saw these incredibly cool rainbows. I don't think I've ever seen one that was so striking and bold. The colors were just so intense.

When was the last time you saw a double rainbow? They say there's a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow and I must say that that is a lie. We could see the ends of both rainbows and there were no pots of gold.  Bummer for us. Maybe someone else got to them first.

What great shots! Those are awesome, Jan. Rainbows are so beautiful. I'm more than a little hacked that such an obviously Christian symbol has been hijacked.

Also, what is the building you captured in the picture?

Those are just amazing!! The only time I've seen a complete double rainbow was on vacation in Colorado many years ago.

You know, I think Colorado has been the only place I have seen a double rainbow as well. We saw one a few years ago too, but it wasn't as bold.

Lauren, that building is our hotel, or at least part of it. There are four buildings. It almost like one huge maze.

I have only seen a double rainbow twice, but never as striking as this one! WOW. God is so amazing and creative. When I see such vibrant colors like that, I wonder how much more beautiful and breathtaking the colors in Heaven will be!
