It’s a Swap!

Swap Flyer   Last week my friend Carissa  hosted a makeup swap at StudioWed! Are you getting married or know of someone who will be getting married soon? If you do, you should check this place out. It rocks! StudioWed has everything you are looking for in one place. It’s like a one stop shop.

Makeup6Anyways, I dragged Katie out for a night on the town. We had such a great time. I wish we could do this every week. Makeup2 Here’s a little sampling of some of the things up for the swap. There was a ton of stuff to choose from.Makeup3That’s Carissa in the middle. Melissa and Amy flew in from Boston to co-host. They are part of Swap.com. It’s the new thing these days, so check it out. It’s not just for makeup.Makeup My Big Fat Cupcake provided the best, out of this world cupcakes for everyone. They were fantastic. If you are in the Denver area you should pick up a few cupcakes or hunt down their cupcake truck. You can never go wrong with champagne and cupcakes!Makeup4 Not only were there cupcakes, but Eva, from Makeup Mania, was there giving makeup advice and doing makeovers, while brow expert Carla was shaping brows. Those were much needed services for me. ;)  Makeup7Steubens food truck also stopped by to feed us all.Makeup9I had a green chile cheeseburger. It was quite tasty. It was perfectly cooked and the green chile added a great kick. Makeup8

Steuben’s, so I’ve heard, is known for their gravy fries. I had to try them and they did not disappoint. Wow! If you like gravy, you’ll love these fries.

Makeup, champagne, cupcakes, burgers, fries, and great friends. What more could a girl ask for?

Jan,
You should come to our swap party sometime - I throw one every spring! It's fabulous AND it's free!

Marsha, the gravy fries were excellent, but cheese, bacon, and ranch dressing sound just as wonderful. I may have to make some of those sooner rather than later. Yum!
