White Chocolate and Cranberries

I am going back to cookies. I might try to make cupcakes another day, but for now I am sticking to old faithful. After we moved here I had to mess with my cookie recipe too. Now I think I have it perfect. They turn out pretty much the same every time. The other day instead of chocolate chips I decided to try white chocolate chips and some dried cranberries. This might be a new favorite. They were so good!

David can never get enough cookies. He can hardly wait for them to come out of the oven.

Hot and fresh out of the oven. Delicious!

Is this a recipe where you can change up what you put in them? Marissa said you make the best cookies.

Did you post the recipe?

Now this recipe is what I came up with at high altitude. I have yet to try it at a lower altitude. I'm sure it will work the same.

It's all approximate because I usually just dump stuff in. You might have to play with it a little.

2 sticks butter, soften
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsps vanilla
1tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsps baking powder
2 1/4-1/2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream together butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Then add salt, baking soda, baking powder. Mix together. Slowly add flour mixing until the consistency isn't too soft and is easy to work with, but not too tough either. Then stir in your chocolate chips or other toppings. Load up your cookie pans and bake for 11-12mins.

If you try it please let me know how it goes. I'd love to hear from you.
