What a fun day! After a nice snowstorm on Thursday we woke up to the sun shining and about 14 or 15 inches of fresh snow. I don't think it beat the 27 inches we got a few years ago, but it felt pretty close. It warmed up quickly and the snow was perfect for making an igloo, or "club house" as Thomas says. We all made it out today. It was great!
David enjoyed snacking on the snow. He really had no interest in anything else.
Oh, wait. He did want to share his snow with Elizabeth. She is thinking, "No way! Don't even come near me." Too bad for her because David tried to shove it in her face anyway.
With the sun blazing the reflection off of the snow was almost blinding. Sunglasses almost didn't help. It was so bright. Jared got sunburned.
Everyone was helping. Hard at work.
Rebecca was our greatest helper. She was loving this.
Finished! Now we'll have to see how long it lasts before the sun melts it all away.
